- My Review:
While visiting the relatively new Loudon County winery Stone Tower, I tasted an interesting Bordeaux-style red wine made here in Virginia. On the nose of this wine, I detected dark fruit and black currants aromas. On the palate, this wine was lightly tannic, with a very light body, which surprised me (in a good way!) considering a majority of this wine is Cabernet Sauvignon. Overall, this wine was in my opinion a bit above average, and has made me eager to taste more Virginia wines.
